In 2017, Festive Chamber Choir was invited by Bring Me A Book, an NGO that was founded to encourage good reading habits among children and young people.
To raise funds for Bring Me A Book, Festive Chamber Choir staged a Musical Play, called “Bring Me A Book” as well, under the baton of Dr Allison So Ming Chuen. Festive Chamber Choir performed popular stories that are set to Choral Pieces, Solo and Ensemble music excerpts from Hansel and Gretel , Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Carmen and other vocal pieces carrying interesting stories.
The magical story was staged on 4th November 2017 in Academic Community Hall of Hong Kong Baptist University.
